Then identify your ideal customer. What kind of people would you like to be your customers? What are their needs, values and wishes? Next, write what makes you different from other competitors and makes you more special. Why can’t the customer choose an alternative for you?
2- Research
Now look at the brand you have and see if you are on the right track or not. Look at your logo, website and marketing methods. See if they send the message you wanted to send. Ask your customers to give their opinions about your brand. Study your competitors and find their strengths and weaknesses.
Check your brand and see what you have achieved so far and what has happened that matches the nature of your brand. Identify them and try to repeat them.
3- Cut and sew
Through brainstorming and mind mapping, write down all the words and phrases that correctly define the essence of your brand. Pay attention to the fields that were the same in part 1 and 2. See which of these threads are more important and define the nature of your brand correctly.
Take these threads and use them to make a statement! Your statement should be a short sentence that is easily remembered and represents your brand identity.
4- Test and modify
Show the statement that defines the essence of your brand to others and get their feedback. See if this event statement reflects the essence of your brand. If you find a problem in the statement, be sure to correct it to make sure you have a clear and effective statement.
